The “Hottest Of” Disaster Recovery
Charity has received a $10,000 grant. This funding was sought by the
Charity to be able to provide some financial assistance to fire companies
from the area hardest hit by the storms and subsequent flooding that
occurred in September of 2011. “We recognize that many Fire Companies from
the area suffered many losses on proprietary, financial and personal levels
due to these natural disasters”, stated Jaime Novinger –Toigo.
There will be several grants
awarded. Fire Companies can find information to apply for the grant by
going to:

The “Hottest Of” Disaster Recovery
Charity was founded in 2005 with a two-fold Mission of recognizing Volunteer
Firefighters for their heroic work and selfless actions while creating a
product that provides an opportunity to give back to victims of Property
Disaster. Annually the Charity hosts a “Hottest & Bravest” Search Party
that solicits all Volunteer Firefighter’s from Central PA to come out and
represent their station and community in a yearly calendar.
